This was originally a friend's cat meowing but it has been processed heavily. First, it was put through a granulizer and the pitch was dropped -2 octaves. The sample was then panned l-r using automation, and bitcrushed. Lastly, to get a slight detuned feel, i added a chorus effect. This sample sounds even better with some convolution or hall reverb but i left this effect out since it's usually a effect users want total control over. The end result is a strange, alien sounding noise.

Originally made with an alesis ion synthesizer and then processed through absynth 5 with additional sound effects, mainly consisting of reverberation and granular synthesis. *i'm open to take requests for certain sounds or music you may need for any project*.

Blip trails: c2 note, random blip sounds with fast attacks and short trails using massive. Sampled into ableton with just a touch of reverb to help the trail smooth out, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. Random parameters in massive, and very little other effects used. This is one of those sound effects you kind of go "huh?" about when you hear. Let me explain what this is and how i imagine it being used. To me, it sounded like a good sound effect for when a computer (whether in a game or animation or whatever) screen starts writing down text (in other words, when a message is displayed on a screen and is written down one letter at a time until the complete message is shown). There are two versions here. The first one fades out (to be used a single time), and the second one is loopable (so you can loop it to make it last longer). Okay, i'm done with the long boring description. I hope you enjoy this weird, different type of sound effect :). P. S. This is the ambience i created for my sci-fi sitcom accidentally reckless of a dropship of some kind approaching a battlefield (and certain death). The bare bones was created from a field recording of the x-1 bus going down attercliffe road towards sheffield city centre, during a period in 2017 when they were constantly resurfacing the stretch that goes past the swingers club, resulting in the bone shaking rattling sounds you can hear. I then layered on some laser and rocket noises (already uploaded) and some engine type sound effects and shuttle flypast effects that i don't think i've uploaded yet. I hope it's useful for someone else and no need to credit. Just share the freesound love!.

This sound has been created by modifying a voice record of about 3 minutes non-sense talk. Afterwards transformed and modified by many various effects in audacity. Sounds like an alien transmission or digital matrix, transformation kinda thingy. . Feel free to use as you like under public domain.

My first little attempt at making some film-like sound effects. Alot of bass in this one, tried to cut it below 30-50hz. I just want to point out to the people having a listen, that the sample that streams on the website has a small static-like noise in it. . The download version will not have this noise, i believe the compression for streaming degraded the sound a bit.

I created this sound by using the fl studio speech synthesizer plus several effects. Maybe useful in a video game or a short animation movie ;-).

Hello,. This is the sample pack that i completed for the sound design course at slam academy. The theme of this pack is sounds that could be used to make melancholy and dark sounding music, but use however you see fit. I used ableton’s operator and analog synthesizers and xfer’s serum plugin to create this sounds. All processing was used using ableton’s stock effects and serum’s stock effects. File contains a second collection of 4 or 5 creepy, clichéd "hypno-tones" in the theremin's lowest ranges, each separated with 5 seconds of silence. Each hypnotone in the file uses a different waveform/tonal setting to give you various textural choices. As always, these sounds are recorded "dry" so that you can tweak and tweeze, add effects, overdub and mangle them any way you like.

I created this sound using lmms and 2 instances of it's zynaddsubfx plugin and a kick using the kicker plugin and some ladspa effects. I tried to emulate the "inception braaam " sound the best i could. Hopefully someone can find this useful to use in their project.

I made a saw wave and put some flanger and paulstretch effects to it on audacity and made this synth-like saw wave inspired by the saw wave sample from the ps1 startup sound.
